Battle of Inverlochy refought on New Year's Eve 2010 at Mark Ritchie's. The third in a series of great games making the holidays complete.Montrose catches the Convenanter forces under Argyll encamped near the ruins of Inverlochy castle. His Highlanders are arrayed in the foreground with veteran Irish units advancing through the heather on the left.
The Highlanders charge out the woods and heather and the battle is on. Covenanter campsites can be seen in the distance.
